Welcome to Strinestown Church on the web. We’ll post news and updates here. Things like notices on special events in the church and community, snow closings, etc. Things like these:
Community Movie Night – Sun. May 27 at 6 PM. When a drug bust goes tragically wrong, Police Sergeant James Buanacore is forced to quit the job he loves. With his faith falling in doubt, he is encouraged to take on a job at a local Christian high school as a Criminal Justice teacher to troubled students and as the coach to the struggling baseball team. Just when James is thinking of giving up, a student challenges him to begin the investigation that will change all their lives forever, an investigation into the existence of Jesus.
The doors will be open at 7:00 PM. Come as you are and stay as briefly or as long as you like. The doors are open to all who need prayer, who are heavy burdened, who are fearful, thankful, uncertain, blessed, confused, lost, lonely, and all who understand that prayer is a direct conversation with the Lord and group prayer is VERY powerful. Don’t miss this opportunity to place your petitions before the Lord for family and friends, our community, our State and our Country.
“…If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” 2 Chron 7:14-15
